I really like this piece. I like the composition and the impact the blurry background has on the foreground. Thanks for sharing. I look forward to seeing more of your work.

I don't know if you are looking for criticism on it or not but here are some of my comments:
The only criticism I have on it is the light source on the hand. The shadows on the front of the hand are inconsistent with the shadow behind it. if the hand was in the shadow the shadow cast wouldn't be so dark? The shadow behind the hand is a little too 'sharp' looking? Observe the shadow behind the chair. See how it it kind of fades a little more towards the edge? The fading on your shadow is good but I would look more at the color around the penumbra of the shadow.
