A portrait of George McDonald, author of many pieces including "The Princess and the Goblin," first published in 1872. It will be once again published this year, in which this piece will be featured.

I was very excited at the chance to provide the art (including some end chapter illustrations), especially because I share the honor with Jef Murray (British Tolkien Society artist), who drew the cover and some full book illustrations. [link]
