Description
A shot of children running at a sports event which was organized by a rural school in Sri Lanka.I was in a team who contributed to develop and provide few important facilities to the school like drinking water and a play ground. It was an interesting experience which narrows the gap between the have and not have societies.

I'm astonished by the barefoot runners but also by this great photograph. I'd be glad if I could see it in black&white. These diagonal lines are awesome. They bring a lot of dynamics.

Wow great capture. What really struck me is how they're running barefoot. In a place like America they'd have uniforms, sneakers, etc. and I bet still some kids would complain. Here, they're giving it all they've got with what they've got, and that's amazing.
