Description
Many of you will probably already know everything in this tutorial; it is primarily aimed at new users and people who haven't discovered the explore feature yet. It is pretty common knowledge... but ironically, this means that nobody actually talks about it or takes time to explain how to use it, as it is assumed that you already know, which a handful of people may not.
Explore is probably the single most useful feature of UF; I found it very interesting that in this poll , the results were almost all "I use it very often" or "what's that?" with almost no votes for the in-between options. This tutorial is for the "what's that?" voters. Β

Thanks very much for this Jess as a new user I found it very useful.
I have also been looking at Chaotica. Β I found a tutorial you wrote a while back explaining how Apophysis worked and tried to see how that related to Chaotica but could not make much sense of it. Β Is an Iterator in Chaotica the same as a Transform in Apophysis. Β I could Β not see how to move a Linear or a Bubble Transform in Chaotica. Β I would be grateful for any help.

I found Explore some time ago and I agree that it's really useful. Typing in numbers just to see what happens is so frustrating. Explore is excellent. The only problem I see is that it doesn't work well with positive numbers... better with decimals.
I'll see what you say here. Thanks.

What an excellent tutorial Jess!Β Thank you for sharing this - and I didn't know 'till now that it was possible to make the small window larger in this way, although I did find it hard to believe it wasn't possible to do it!
Nice to hear your voice too!
