Based on a true story...It's not like I hate snow. I actually love snow! I love winter, too. It's just...I moved to Fairbanks for college three years ago and winters are really stupid here. It's like -30 to -40F every freaking day for MONTHS, and I have to walk 1-2 miles to school every day, the "ice fog" is actually pollution that makes my allergies pick up worse than in the summer. You CAN'T make a snowman, you CAN'T breath deeply, and you CAN'T go more than 30 minutes without having to stop to warm up inside a building. Even with double layers of under armor 3.0. AND THEY NEVER PLOW THE DAMN SIDEWALKS AROUND HERE!!! >:C
So I like winter in "normal" places like Juneau...but I hate it in Fairbanks...

That's great XD we're supposed to get a bad winter this year in eastern Washington, but I imagine it's nothing compared to what you get up there.
