Description
This is my second year animation that I produced at the University of Hertfordshire, England. It follows the adventures of a young girl who imagines herself flying amongst and manipulating the clouds in the sky.Although the animation is not as finished as I'd have liked and I had to cut a scene out to meet the deadline I feel like I've learnt a lot throughout its development. Enjoy!

THIS WAS SO INCREDIBLE.
Like in the beginning where she jumps into the sky looks like the theme of a show on TV. I loved the part where in the end the water falls out of her hat. The setting and coloring is marvelous! I also loved how she used her sumbreo to get rid of the dark clouds. :] Great job! Keep up the great work! ;D

Character design is awesome! The story kinda tricked me which is very good to add some anticipation and suspense though right after the music started, it was way to sudden. But! Beautiful work!

It kind of reminds me of Fantasia... I think the 2000 one. I forget which scene though-- the one where the volcano explodes and there's the girl with her deer-friend?

Holy balls, dude, this is awesome. Well, considering all the time you put into it. The art style is great, the music, the premise, all of it. I loved it.
The end especially was brilliant. Got a chuckle outta me. XD

That was absolutely gorgeous!! It was so smooth, and the timing of the music was just...augh so much fun to watch! The colours and the design of the characters were just wonderful

Honestly, i'm applying for 3D animation, but i may switch to 2D depending on how i feel about it.
Have you heard of an animator called "Nanoko"?
and have you played a game called "ICO"?
youd like both i think.
ANyway, im pretty suprised at the quality of this haha, i wasnt too impressed with the 2D stuff on the demoreel at hertfordshire opening day...but this is amazing. Totally changed my mind. Good work

Ah, awesome! I actually started off doing 3D and switched to 2D in my first year. I'll be in the third year when I get back so come find me. :D
I'm not sure who you mean by "Nanoko" but I loooove Ico (and Shadow of the Colossus). I get masses of influence from games like that.
I didn't know there was a demo reel of 2D stuff for our course, it'd be interesting to see what they have in there. My year is the first year to do the 2D course so they wouldn't have much material to work in there. ANYWAY, I hope to see you once you start! And thankyou!

the guy is called "Nanokostudios" and he is the best flash animator i know.. a lot of his stuff isnt released, but look him up on Newgrounds...
an yeah, if its the 1st year, thats probably why i didnt see much heh.. i am starting the course in 3D, and ill see if i like it. If not ill switch back and stay with 2D..

That was great! Not only was it cute, it was also very imaginative and hilarious. The ending was the best BTW! I cracked up!
One thing though.. I thought it was a little rushed when the girl was having fun in the clouds before the storm came. that's just me though >_>
