well when u put it like that i can see where you are coming from...
hey i keep getting told by this one guy that when animating with flash u should use a frame rate of at least 40fps and only do frame by frame animation...coz its smoother than tweening...is it just me or is this guy just wasting his time???

I don't see any point in 40fps flash, seeing as films only have 24 fps, which is enough to give sufficient illusion of movement. Nowadays my flashes are 25fps. I generally find that tweening is more consistent than frame by frame animation, which can be time consuming. However, if you put in the effort and time, frame by frame animation gives you more freedom and can look spectacular.

agreed...it does look good but it is not always needed...id use it for...maybe a fight scene or sumthing...but a lot of the time it is unnecesary...and doing it at 40 fps is just going to take forever!!!

I love the animation, his eyes whipping around like that when he follows the bean-pea thingie is hilarious, for some reason that I don't understand myself. Seriously, I can't stop laughing because of his eyes--- Ah, I know, I'm whacked
