Description
Well, there's no point in delaying it. I might as well start posting something. Who knows, I may actually find answers here. It's always good to start small, so I started with the smallest thing I can think of. A sphere (a.k.a: a ball
Behold, as you can see in the above picture 3 spheres drawn with a mouse each is worse than the other.
sphere #1 was made using the good old gradient tool, your best friend when making 3D spheres. This one was made as reference to the other 2.
sphere #2 was drawn with a round brush (hardness = 0%, opacity = 10%). Doesn't look that bad. I can actually fool someone with this.
sphere #3 was also drawn with a round brush (hardness = 100%, opacity = 10%). It's terrible X( There's some hope with the lower edges but either that it looks like a waste of time -_-
I'll try it again a couple a hundred times, there could be some improvements. Plus I'm not really comfortable using a brush with an opacity < 100%. It may work for simple object but it will be a problem with more complex objects.
If anyone sees anything gravely wrong (like posting this in the 1st place) or spot problems with it, be a pal and say something about it.
Hopefully the next pic won’t be as bad.
Cheers.
