It's a no-brainer that this GOAT returns.

Johnny Cage, to me, has always been the necessary character to be in Mortal Kombat. He's the goofball that can kick ass and be a good guy at times. After two different timelines, I was all in to see what this one had in store for the Cage. Johnny is still an actor and a martial artist with a wife this time... until he got dumped after a big Indiana Jones knockoff recording... yeah, that happened. But his life started to change after meeting Kenshi, Liu Kang, and the others to compete in Mortal Kombat. Johnny and Kenshi starting off as rivals, turning friends after Kenshi took sais to the eyes to save Johnny, and ultimately getting Sento back was a touching moment to cement their bromance and I enjoyed every moment.

Johnny has all his tools but lacks the green glow this time around, but he gained a new gimmick. Johnny gameplay wise functions as normal, but he's no longer has his green powers, gotta start fresh and make him naturally strong, I guess. He has a Star Power or HYPE, which can be built up, and once that star is full, it's time to go to town! This man can Nut Punch, and Shadow Kick like a machine gun while having th spotlight on him at all times.

Andrew Bowen once again nails it as Johnny Cage and his many movie references in his dialogue. He's truly the definitive voice for the character.
