Description
Real name: "Shae vas Pragaras"Age: One billion years (Approximately)
Blood type: Planeborn.
Main Alias: "Shae the Crimson" (or simply "Shae")
Other Aliases: "Regent of Ambition" "Dragonslayer" "Daughter of the Flame" "The Bronze Huntress" "The Feral Savant".Β
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral (Once again, depends on one's own perception of alignment.)
Abilities: Planeshifting. Planarcrafting. Elemental Wielding (mostly fire based). Shapeshifting. Superhuman swordmanship (albeit unrefined). Superhuman strength and resistence. Flying. Spellcasting. Theoretical Eternal Lifespan. Telepathy. Universal Simultaneous Languagecraft and thousand other abilities.Β
Sexuality: Anyone not fast enough to flee (Bisexual)
Likes: Battles. Riddles. Feasts. High quality alcohol. Treasure hunting. Leading sieges. People who can put up a fight.
Dislikes: Dreariness. Cowardice (she doesn't considers stealth or "alternative" ways of fighting "cowardice", though.) Sadists (probably because she's one, at least in certain matters...) Delegation. Procastination (even though she can be a bit on the "lazy" side sometimes). Liars.
Shae's usual weapons:
-------------------------
Shae is a natural warrior, able to wield almost any sort of weapon without much difficulty (aside from firearms, which are not of her liking). Her brawling skills are a sight to behold as well (mostly due to her raw brutality), but if need arises, she has two main "weapons":
"The Obsidian Omen": Two gigantic slabs of dark volcanic obsidian she calls "swords". Shortly after her "birth", Shae roughly crafted them from the rocks at the top of the tallest volcano from her original world (Pragaras) as a crude way to fight back at the legions of Dragons that ruled the realm. Eventually, as the blood of the Dragons she had slain bathed the blades, the swords became imbued with the countless souls they had taken, becoming the fearsome claymores of destruction she wields today.
"The Eye of Xar Draal": Although not a "conventional" weapon per se, the necklace Shae wears is perhaps one of the most dangerous artifacts known to mortals and Adonae alike. After having slain every Dragon in Pragaras, Shae fought for seven days against the "Father of Pragaras, Xar Draal", the first of his kin, and the leader of his now extint race, until he finally was brought down in a stroke of sheer luck when the mountain in which they were fighting crumbled, Draal being way too exhausted as to raise flight and finally plummeting to his demise. Before letting him die, however, Shae sealed his soul inside one of the many treasures he stored away in his lair as a way to cement her victory over the race who brought her misery since her birth.
Since then, Xar Draal and Shae usually speak to one another in a rather odd fashion, forging over the centuries a sort of "relationship" only they can understand. Mortal enemies, yet master and servant. Sworn to kill each other if they ever meet again, yet sharing knowledge and advice.
If Shae were to free Draal from his imprisonement for some unavoidable reason... it is not known if they'd both ride the winds as allies, or if they'd settle the old score from their past with fire and blood.
And perhaps that's one mistery that'd be best to remain unanswered.
--------------------------
As always, feel free to ask whatever question you have regarding Shae. I'll try my best to answer your doubts!
Fate out!

Fire, blood and slaughter. Reminds me of Khorne. Except khorne is the absolute GOD of slaughte blood skulls and common butchering. Khorne also happens to dislike anything sexual magical or ...okay he HATES eveything but that's just khorne. I have no idea why I wrote all that. But she reminds me of Khorne.Β
She Likes: Battles. Riddles. Feasts. High quality alcohol. Treasure hunting. Leading sieges. People who can put up a fight.
Khorne likes: Battles,Blood,Slaughte, people who can put up a FAIR fight, Fair fights (Atleast he used to pefer fair fights. and despise unfair ones.) Nowadays he is happy as long as heads ae being severed and blood keeps flowing.
Also apparently Khorne looks like a dog :/
The colouring of this piece is awesome! The setch was awesome alone but this...This is glorious!
She dislikes firearms? Khornate berzerkes (warriors of Khorne. Really mad f*cked up dudes.) also dislike firearms. Their favoured weapons are Chainaxes chainswods (aka. chainsaw axes and chainsaw swords )Β
(too much Khorne loyalism in me. Yabbing around about khorne all time.)
In short:
Amazing!
Reminds me of Khorne(&his followers)
Dat bio too (I'm propably the only one so far who bothered to read it (so far )
I would totally let her lead my warband. (based o the bio that is) (Waband=army. It's kinda obvious when you think about it)
(sorry for the essay )

Nurgle being the only god that khorne "tolerates" is the reason why I shall not "Kill! Maim! Burn!" You xD
One thing is certain about Nurgle. He cares more or less of his servants.
As where khorne doesn't give a f*ck as long as heads drop and blood flows. (Cranky old god. He needs a snickers xD)
Slaanesh on the other hand is sort of in his "teens" it's all just sex drugs and loud sounds. ("Teens" for a couple millenia.)
(Also slaaneesh was born due to a super kinky eldar("space elf") orgy which resulted in two things:
1. The birth of Slaanesh
2. The almost complete extinction of the Eldar race. (Some survived)
And Tzeentech...the nerdy god who is actually the only one who figured out that it's a tabletop game. And everything. Victory or defeat. Is "just as planned"
His/it's (freaky ass bird mofucka) servants are only prawns in his neverending game of warhammer. (Note:Tzeentec is a pussy ass lvl 9999 sorcerer. It's all just "magic" & "just as planned" )
This had nothing to do with your amazing piece of art Fate.
And take my advice: NEVER EVER START A MINIATURE WARGAMING HOBBY! (Even though the models look neat.)
(Wonder what a servant of nurgle would look like if made by Fate. Propably freaky and sexy. Maybe. Nurgle really isn't the guy whose servants have the most sex-appeal. (Still better than tzeentech. That shit can't even be categorized as anthro or furry...The only suitable category would be "REAALLY FREAKY SHIT!" It would propably also include slaaneshes orgies.( I'm not such a fan of feathers. Nor tzeentechs deamons. Man they just ugly)
THIS MADE NO SENSE/ALL THE SENSE IN THE WORLD!
(Sorry for another essay. I just reaally can't speak in any otherΒ way.)
Anyways.
Blood for the bloodgod.
And donations for Fatelogic xD

Yes I know about the chaos gods, I know a lot of 40K's history. No need to tell me this stuff. XD Orks iz me favorite outta everyone in 40K. WAAAGH!!! But among chaos, Nurgle's my favorite god, because he does care about his own followers. And plagues are scary and cool. And yes this doesn't have anything to do with the picture, but you mentioned Khorne so... I had to say Nurgle's better.
... milk for the Khorne flakes. Let the galaxy churn!

Me like da orkz too. Bit me no have enuff teef fur em Dx (got all my chaos dudes for free so far thanks to my brother.) But yeah. Plagues are scary.
But my opinion is that a horde of bloodthirsty crazed maniacs is scarier. No need to start a debate about that though. (Atleast not here )
Atleast there's something we ALL agree on. And that's the fact that Fate did an amazing piece of art. Yay Fatelogic!

Dark eldar. (Wonder why I thought BLACK eldar. Hood eldar xD) yeap I wouldn't want them to come for me either.
She is burning hot. (I guess that pun was used already :/ )
Question: is she on fire or is that just the scene she's in? And if she is on fire, is she on fire all the time?

Yessir! *salutes* BLOOD FOR THE BLOODGOOD ARGHELBRALRGHER *Runs off to slaughter "innocent" worlds for the bloodgod*
(If this was real it could be quite humourous. A "simple" Khorne berzerker and a (yet to be specified) dude just talking about stuff and whenever the berzerker couldn't answer for any reason (or just for the fun of it) goes on a violent blood spilling rampage. It would be hilarious in its randomness.)
But yeah. I'll note you xD maybe not now nor later but sure I'll try
(If this reply made any sense at all to you. Gongratulations you understand a diagnosed nutjob )

I don't know... That sounds kind of "Stockholm syndromeish" to me, but who knows... Living a billion years is an experience I certainly cannot quite predict in regards of it's outcomes, so who says that's not possible? XD

I definitely wasn't expecting that level of detail...
Β Β
I find it sad that I just spent the last 5-6 hours writing an essay and your description possibly has more quality to it than that T.T.
As for questions, what can't she do, since she has so many abilities? Any particular weaknesses?
π: 0 β©: 1
Fatelogic In reply to MarinoOfFive [2014-03-10 06:15:21 +0000 UTC]
And I left tons of backstory aside... just because the description would have been so goddamn long that no one would be able to reach the comment section by simply scrolling xD
For your question: Adonae (the "race" these regents and other individuals constitute) aren't almighty. They're considered "Gods", but the definition of "Gods" itself has been twisted to an extreme by mortal civilizations, so you can figure the "difference" between the idealized concept of "Divinity" and the true extents of it's real definition.
As for Shae, her "faults" might lie not on her physical or magical prowess, but more in her "personality". Even though she's as strong as Vicktorica, the Regent of Might herself, her fighting methods can be described more as "instinctive brawling" rather than "honned combat skills", and her magical aptitudes suffer from the same "roughness". Her spiritual power is overwhelming, second probably only to Silveria's, but she tends to channel raw blasts of energy or pretty basic enchantments (although quite grandiose in effect, duration and radius due to her deep energy pool), whereas Silveria can design the most intrincate magic patterns known to mortals and Adonae alike, reachin a highly flexible and varied array of effects in different degrees of subtlety, such as mentalism, illusionism, astral projection and so on.
This doesn't means that Shae's an "overglorified thug" though. All the contrary, in fact. Her long conversations with Xar Draal and her natural affinity to the Dragonkin eventually impregnated her dialect and manerisms, leaving her with a taste for opulent treasures, ancient riddles, quiet meditation and introspective hermitage (such as the dragons of old). It's just that her life philosophy is that of an errant individualist, and as such never had the actual chance or interest as to "refine" her already outstanding potential, thus preffering to overcompensate that "lacking" side with an overabundance of raw power.

Welllll then o.o.
So they are mortal in some sense, though not quite bound to the same rules as our own. Β It's all very interesting to read, anyway. As a shorter question, what does one do with a billion years of lifetime? Β I would imagine there is only so much to see...
