"I won't leave you." I stare blankly at Kiko. "Sakira, you need to go..." I say nothing more. I pad to the mouth of the cave and look reluctantly back at Kiko. My eyes beg her to let me stay with her. "It's too dangerous! Go! Now!" She yells at me and looks all over and the ground begins to rumble. I release a long howl and look back once more, and this time, I won't hold back the tears. I run back. "I suppose this is the last good-bye..." The tears are streaming down my snout now. "Go!" Kiko is crying, too, I can see her even in the dimly lit cave. Even if I couldn't see her, the choked sounds coming from the back of her throat as she spoke would give it away. I put my paw up in the air and she presses hers against mine. I break the silence and run off to the mouth of the cave again. "Good bye..." I look at the ground and then back up and at the sky. I run away to the night, never to see my sister again.
