Description
This little dude belongs to my fiances dad. I LOVE how this species feels so different than the Ball Pythons yet they're so closely related. The Angolan Python, also known as Anchieta's Dwarf Python, feels rough like sandpaper while the Ball Pythons are incredibly smooth and almost soft. The Angolan's are also diurnal as opposed to being nocturnal or crepuscular like the Ball Pythons. These come from Angola (hence the name) and Namibia. Interestingly enough, most to all Angolan's in captivity are from Angola as they aren't allowed to export them from Namibia as they are the national snake there.
