Description
First post after a looooong time! In this post (and another one after this), I’ll be revealing my fan made NB ocs and a few of my headcanons surrounding them and the canon continuity! This will be updated as time goes on, so do be on the lookout for thatEDIT(4-8-2022): Added a “Fragmented Fun Facts” Section for more details!
About the Mirror Numberblocks (as a group):
- Originating from a parallel dimension, these mysterious Numberblocks resemble their canonical counterparts, but once they pass through a rift that sends them to the canon Numberland, their personalities will start to differ as they quite literally “figure out” who they are—numeral wise and as an individual!
- All Mirror Numberblocks will present themselves as negative numbers. Their colour palette will often be a darkened or lightened version of their corresponding natural number Numberblock, causing them to look less vibrant.
- Most Mirror Numberblocks have a tendency to accessorise themselves as a part of their new identity, which would usually be made obvious in order to differentiate them from their counterparts. In some extreme cases, some of them would even have different physical features that would differentiate them further.
- It’s a taboo to intentionally refer to them as “just a copy” among all Numberblocks. To the Mirror Numberblocks themselves, it’s seen as an extremely disrespectful act.
Short Bio of Mirror Numberblocks 1-5:
- Mirror Numberblock One/Minus One/-1
Anxious and a bit shy, this Mirror Numberblock gives off the impression of a nervous young boy, especially compared to his more outspoken counterpart. Despite his nervousness, however, he’s just as eager to aid his friends and allies, willing to throw away his concerns for the sake of his companions.
- Mirror Numberblock Two/Minus Two/-2
Cheery and confident, this Mirror Numberblock shares Two’s love for dancing with an extra twist—she enjoys doing pirouettes with her every move! Her boundless motivation tends to result in reckless decisions and accidents, but her cheerfulness makes up for it as she brings a smile to everyone’s faces.
- Mirror Numberblock Three/Minus Three/-3
Compassionate but cautious, this Mirror Numberblock might be an entertainer similar to his counterpart, but he often takes time to think over his choices, usually trying to find a balance between his own needs and others’. That doesn’t mean he can’t have fun, however, as he aims to make every single one of his shows a remarkable experience—for himself and his friends alike.
- Mirror Numberblock Four/Minus Four/-4
Adventurous and loyal, this Mirror Numberblock never lets her own shape hinder herself, as she’d often try out different arrangements in the process of exploring what she’s capable of (other than having Square Power). She also enjoys learning more about her friends, and is often seen as someone trustworthy of secrets.
- Mirror Numberblock Five/Minus Five/-5
Confident and ambitious, this Mirror Numberblock enjoys the feeling of thrill, often making reckless decisions just to get a kick of the extremities. Though he tends to not think too much regarding his own safety, he still has a degree of concern regarding the safety of his friends, and tries not to make others worry too much about himself.
Fragmented Fun Facts:
- -1 is almost never seen alone, usually hanging around one or more Numberblocks as a way to make himself feel more included.
- When -2 is in a good mood, she does spins and twirls even when she isn’t dancing.
- Unlike with the other 3 clones, -3 and 3 are usually seen close, sometimes even preforming as a duo.
- Though she doesn’t usually say it outright, -4 doesn’t really like getting ordered around.
- -5 has knowledge of basic first-aid skills, something he deliberately learned for the sake of his stunts.
