I had the idea of "What kind of characters would the Mane Six want to play in a D&D game? When all together, who would make what type of character?"

Then it devolved to a ton of time on this!!!! c;

I'm gonna do the basic info at the start, then further details at the bottom.

Race - Class - Background

Fluttershy chose to be a Satyr druid with a hermit background
Satyr - Druid - Hermit
Traits: I am working on a grand philosophical theory and love sharing my ideas. I feel tremendous empathy for all who suffer.
Ideals: Free Thinking. Inquiry and curiosity are the pillars of progress. (Chaotic)
Bonds: My isolation gave me great insight into a great evil that only I can destroy. Should my discovery come to light, it could bring ruin to the world.
Flaws: I harbor dark, bloodthirsty thoughts that my isolation and meditation failed to quell.
Extra details:
Fluttershy wasn't too sure at first, and honestly she started her character creation a bit nervously. But Pinkie Pie helped her branch out into some cool ideas!
Her outfit:
Fur cloak, fur wrist cuffs, flower accessories, antlers

Twilight chose to be an Aarakocra wizard with a sage background
Aarakocra - Wizard - Sage
Traits: I use polysyllabic words that convey the impression of great erudition. I am horribly, horribly awkward in social situations.
Ideals: Logic. Emotions must not cloud our logical thinking. (Lawful)
Bonds: I have an ancient text that holds terrible secrets that must not fall into the wrong hands.
Flaws: Most people scream and run when they see a demon. I stop and take notes on its anatomy. I am easily distracted by the promise of information.
Extra details:
Twilight took the job of 'Dungeon Master', despite Discord's offers to DM her first game for her. She dove into the rule books and spent forever working out the numbers and stats for her character. She mostly tried to make herself as a D&D character rather than a fictional storyline.
Her outfit:
Ear feathers, red cloak with a twilight-coloured inner layer and a red gem broach, golden glasses, wizard hat

Rainbow Dash chose to be a Dragonborn warlock with a pirate background
Dragonborn - Warlock - Pirate
Traits: My friends know they can rely on me, no matter what. I stretch the truth for the sake of a good story. I like a job well done, especially if I can convince someone else to do it.
Ideals: Aspiration. Someday I'll own my own ship and chart my own destiny. (Any)
Bonds: Ruthless pirates murdered my captain and crewmates, plundered our ship, and left me to die. Vengeance will be mine.
Flaws: I'll say anything to avoid having to do extra work. Once someone questions my courage, I never back down no matter how dangerous the situation.
Extra details:
Rainbow Dash wanted to have the absolute coolest character in the entire universe. And she succeeded!

Fake dragon tail, rainbow back spikes, curved horns

Rarity chose to be a High Elf bard with a noble background
High Elf - Bard - Noble
Traits: My eloquent flattery makes everyone I talk to feel like the most wonderful and important person in the world. I take great pains to always look my best and follow the latest fashions. Despite my noble birth, I do not place myself above other folk. We all have the same blood.
Ideals: Independence. I must prove that I can handle myself without the coddling of my family. (Chaotic)
Bonds: I am in love with the heir of a family that my family despises.
Flaws: I hide a truly scandalous secret that could ruin my family forever.
Extra details:
Rarity spent a bit more time on helping everyone with their costumes than she did on her own character creation, but somehow she still managed to churn out an absolute banger of a character!

Pinkie chose to be a Harengon rogue with a criminal/spy background
Harengon - Rogue - Criminal/Spy
Traits: The first thing I do in a new place is note the locations of everything valuable—or where such things could be hidden. I would rather make a new friend than a new enemy.
Ideals: Redemption. There's a spark of good in everyone. (Good)
Bonds: I will become the greatest thief that ever lived.
Flaws: I have a "tell" that reveals when I'm lying. An innocent person is in prison for a crime that I committed. I'm okay with that.
Extra details:
Pinkie Pie was one of the ponies who got super deep into it, and made her character in-depth and enthralling. She was so excited to play, and often darted around the room during character creation time to make sure everyone was having fun.
Her outfit:
Rabbit ears, cross-shoulder strap with various stealth potions

Applejack chose to be a Leonin fighter with a folk hero background
Leonin - Fighter - Folk Hero
Traits: If someone is in trouble, I'm always ready to lend help.
Ideals: Freedom. Tyrants must not be allowed to oppress the people. (Chaotic)
Bonds: I protect those who cannot protect themselves.
Flaws: The people who knew me when I was young know my shameful secret, so l can never go home again. My fame as a folk hero is built on a lie.

Applejack took a small bit of convincing to play, but once she got into the character creation, she fell in love and was just as excited as everyone else after that.

Faux lions mane, apple shield, fake teeth, press-on claws
