Fear Effect Inferno would apparently have had a much improved melee combat system featuring environmental takedowns, long before the Arkham series or Sleeping Dogs. This scene was inspired by a prototype screenshot which showed Deke rolling over a kitchen counter with a blazing gas hob - I imagine he would have been able to slam enemies onto it!
