Description
Apologies to anyone viewing in who is in 8th grade, but lets be honest you know it’s true.
The name is a reference to a John Mulaney skit if anyone’s wondering-
So this was actually based on a drawing I did back in September of this year, but never posted, and man the difference in only a few months is staggering! Here’s the original drawing:
Era1102v Boring Vers

Anyways yeah, the character is Era.1.102v, or Era for short, they’re a continual learning AI developed by the Halo Foundation as part of the New Era Initiative. This project had scientists create the initial Era Continual Learning AI (or the ECLAI), which can learn and update its own software autonomously. The Foundation then created the vessels for the Era program, androids that generally mimicked humans (albeit they usually had bright colors or other things to clearly separate them from the staff.)
Era.1.102v was the first to be implemented and to current knowledge has performed 102 updates on their software thus far, changing personality traits, morality, you name it. While the scientists are considering making a 2nd instance of the ECLAI, given how the first has grown, they’re rather hesitant.
