Description
An ancient, shapeshifting being who is very mischievous and playful. Unfortunately, his definition of 'play' means destruction, and any 'playmate' he thinks is particularly strong is in for a fight for their lives, less they become 'broken'. Manic is incapable of understanding right from wrong, and is seemingly immortal, thus the only chance anyone has in surviving an encounter with this creature is to find a way to imprison him or to distract him with a funny joke or his favorite food: watermelons.

I was looking for things to inspire me to create new characters for my project when I saw a wooden doll of a Pueblo Native American clown spirit. I thought it'd be cool to put my own spin on an ancient Native folklore figure, and it was fun drawing a stretchy Plastic Man kinda character.
