Description
Two sketches from my notebook, one less detailed than the other.Left one is an incubator, there were many but two were this type. I represented it because I'm familiar with this design from my campus's labs.
Cultures meant for Salmonella testing were incubated in 37°C, prepared mediums ("besiyeri" in Turkish) and Enterobactericae-testing cultures (in VRBD agar medium) were kept in the other set to 45,5°C.
On the right is the young girl (employee, not an apprentice) who taught me, or rather her hair. I found it was a way cooler and quicker way to tie up one's hair than a simple ponytail (but it makes your head hurt after a bit, if you're not used to it).
I was under her care for the first two weeks or so. She then took her leave, and I hung out with other apprentices who came in later.
