small and timid, the Sulfur Tuft variety are much less suited to battle, and so instead find the most terrifying stump to infest and live in, in hopes that it is big and strange enough to scare its predators off instead of being eaten. It has indeed worked for them as they are incredibly common around woodlands and parks. Once a young Sulfur Tuft finds a log it deems scary enough, it will try to trick its friends with it first, as a test.
