Sorry it's not art. But this is a wonderful cat. His name at the shelter is Marvin and I WANT HIM!! He's pretty much the perfect cat for my family. My parents don't want to get a new cat though >n<
We used to have two cats, Thunder and Lightning, but Lightning got leukemia and had to be put down. That was in May. My mom kind of wants another cat. I think my dad does too but won't admit it. Neither of them actually interacted with this lovely cat so they don't know how awesome he is. I played with him and he is everything my mom wants in a cat and more. She wants a cat like Lightning and Marvin is the #1 choice. My dad says he has to get along with Thunder and possibly a dog. (Unfortunately, my dog also died this year in March.) I think he will because I did the "sniff test", where you let the cat sniff and see all the other cats in the shelter. If he doesn't hiss more than once or twice, he'll probably get along with other cats. You can also do the dog test, where you let the cat and a shelter dog meet. If they do okay, then most likely the cat is alright with dogs too.
ANYWAYS... I know it sounds immature, but I really want this cat! I hope my parents will even decide to get another cat, and they'd better do it soon. Marvin could get adopted any day. The longer we wait, the greater chance there is of him getting adopted by someone else. I've been keeping tabs on him and the other cats we liked, and 2 of the 5 have been adopted over the span of 3 weeks. I sincerely hope Marvin will become my cat.
