Weird, I have no idea what's causing this. Do other skins work?

Well, for example, in the google calendar. It was showing the month as June. It is April. When I looked at the ini file June was hardcoded as the month. And then I noticed the day substitution codes were mixed with month codes. It was really not even nearly complete.
Then another had something coded in as meeting with Helsinki CEO. So, I guess what I am saying, if you had a bullet proof skin, then hiding all the variables is one thing but when there are problems with the code it makes for trouble. Or if someone wants to customize a different item then is in the settings function, it is difficult.
There were several other panels that needed editing to get to work properly. If you want I can go back and look at the set up, (someone elses PC) and remember what other bugs there were.
Overall it is nice, but as I said there are bugs and the method of hiding the variables and inputs makes it difficult to troubleshoot.

Hmm, that's googlecalendar4.ini, it's a test version that we forgot to delete. The others (1,2,3) should be working fine. What specific problems aside from google calendar did you have? We can't really improve if we don't know what to improve.

Pretty nice, but maybe a bit over complicated and there are a lot of bugs here. It is a lot of work to clean up. In my admitedly limited experience, it is better to allow edits directly in a skin then have to go hunt for where the variables are buried.

What kind of bugs did you experience? Omnimo is designed to provide simple configuration methods, editing skins directly is highly discouraged. Why not just use the config tools to change settings?

Just been using this with Rainmeter 2.3 (Beta) on Windows 7 Home Premium. Very intuitive & easy to use. Couple of bugs to report (if not already noted). Resizing of panels using the resize corners leaves "Size.exe" hanging as an open process in all instances. Text panel icon appears nested behind graphic panel icon in 1366x768. I fixed this for myself, but just so you're aware for your distribution.

Thanks for the feedback. You can safely ignore the second bug, it was self induced on my part. *slaps wrist*

By far the best rainmeter skin, but I have one issue...
When I log off/shutdown (not lock) the elements of the skin move about 3 or 4 pixels in any direction, and return on mouseover.
Any fix for this? It appears I'm a bit OCD with my desktop.

hey guys - i just installed omnimo yesterday and i have quite a hard time with it.
i allready searched for a solution for hours buut nobody seems to have the same issues so i am just asking here:
in installed everything correctly [at least i think so]. downloaded - extracted - opened the .rmskin with the skininstaller.exe - followed the setup as i were told.
this worked fine. everything was displayed correctly. i chose a couple of text items i wanted to use and chose a color for them. everything fine.
but now the problem appeared - i can not resize or edit anything. for example change the fead for the rss reader. everytime i click on the sizechanger or the wrench for the settings it just says 'your skinpath in rainmeter.ini looks to be empty'.
i allready looked for it but in the .ini it says 'TrayExecuteL=!execute ["#skinspath#\WP7\Common\OmnimoApp.exe" ToggleIcons][!RainmeterToggleFade *]
TrayExecuteM=!execute [!RainmeterToggleConfig "WP7\Gallery" "gallery.ini"]'
so it is NOT empty.
i tried to redownload and reinstall it but nothing helped. i have no clue what to do.
i would be so thankfull for every helpful hint. hope anyone has an idea.

Right click the rainmeter tray icon, select Edit settings, add this:
SkinPath=%USERPROFILE%\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins\
Save and restart Rainmeter

How do I make the background 100% opaque?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Hodgemeister In reply to TinyWin [2012-04-14 00:45:26 +0000 UTC]
Set the background's alpha channel to 255, in other words set its colour(s) to x,y,z,255. The specifics on how to do this depend on which background you're using.

Not sure if this has been addressed but the world clock seems to have an issue with Daylightsavings. My local time is correct for Japan but the times in the states are still an hour behind what they should be despite daylight savings having already happened. Not sure where the issue is. Anyone else had this problem?
