You can hide the desktop icons using a special toggler from the extras gallery (second page of textitems gallery)

Hello...Question for you...When I want to view the Panels available, I right click & select wp7 >> panels, what shows up is a big gray list area, but no items are listed. If I click somewhere on that empty list area, it will show me the variants of that selection & choose one of them. When I originally installed this, it would show all of the items so that would allow me to know what I'm clicking on.

If I go about this process, but select TextItems it will show all of the items in the gray list TextItems & then I can individually select them to see the variants and chose one.

I have uninstalled & reinstalled rainmaker completely in my system & it still is a problem

Any ideas?

Seems like a bad installation of Omnimo. You can't install it manually, you need to install omnimo by double clicking the rmskin file.

Glad it was easy for you. We tried our best to make it as simple as possible, but a lot of users abandon this suite because it's too difficult for them

I've been considering putting this on my Win8 PC. Will that work? More importantly, is that ironic and repetitive? XD

UltimateRT In reply to Supuhstar [2012-01-11 16:28:09 +0000 UTC]

Rainmeter works fine on Win8, because windows 8 pre-beta is based on win7

What is the newsfeed widget? It's really done beautifully!

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

fediaFedia In reply to dishwashingartist [2012-01-07 21:08:22 +0000 UTC]

Well, it's a Bing news/search widget. It can display live results for a specific keyword. It's a part of Omnimo, but can be used with any other rainmeter skin.

So far I am loving this! A request though! Do you think you could add volume control into the now playing app for the 7 category thing? All the apps only control windows volume not my itunes volume. D;

Hmm seems like a bug in the plugin. Unfortunately I don't know how to fix that. Your best bet would be asking for help on Rainmeter forums.

Mah, no mater. CoreTemp does the job pretty god but it is on taskbar only, still better then nothing

Incidentally I use only CoreTemp myself

TheBlack4 In reply to fediaFedia [2012-01-23 15:01:30 +0000 UTC]

Haha legendary
It has some issues to, sometimes it opens only one core, sometimes it's only blank, but just a restart of core temp fixes it

Verry nice, me like it
How can I make speedfan to show me my core temp? It is always on 0° hm..

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

jrsall92 In reply to ??? [2012-01-05 03:15:49 +0000 UTC]

found a little glitch in multimeter skin of contributor panels pack. CPU temp was always 100 either C or F, to fix it right-click the skin then click edit, scroll down until you find a section called [Meter 2] in the following line you will find the line "Percentual=1" (without quote ofc), change the value from 0 to 1. Fedia fix it in the next version

in a problem that i have, I have enlarged the speedfan skin, i don't know how, but i want it back to the original size and i can't make it smaller, any suggestions???

fediaFedia In reply to jrsall92 [2012-01-05 08:49:30 +0000 UTC]

Thanks for fixing it, to restore the size, open skin's folder, edit size.inc in notepad to be 150

tjmeadows In reply to ??? [2012-01-03 20:18:50 +0000 UTC]

Great theme, but when my computer wakes from sleep or hibernation most of the tiles are gone. Rainmeter must be refreshed to get them back. It's slightly annoying.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

ctrice In reply to tjmeadows [2012-01-04 20:13:17 +0000 UTC]

Fedia, I agree its most likely an issue with rainmeter. Are you running 64-bit or 32?

👍: 0 ⏩: 0

fediaFedia In reply to tjmeadows [2012-01-03 20:52:17 +0000 UTC]

Does this happen with any other Rainmeter skins?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tjmeadows In reply to fediaFedia [2012-01-04 00:33:43 +0000 UTC]

Currently Omnimo 4.1 is the only Rainmeter skin I have running. However, when I used to have multiple skins I never had an issue such as this. Also, thanks for the prompt response.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

fediaFedia In reply to tjmeadows [2012-01-04 08:48:52 +0000 UTC]

Can you try this with Illustro (default Rainmeter skin) and see if it happens? It's likely a Rainmeter problem

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

tjmeadows In reply to fediaFedia [2012-01-04 17:44:44 +0000 UTC]

I loaded up all the Illustro skins and after force hibernation, every tile remained for Illustro, and the Omnimo issue remained. If it helps I can record which skins I have running, and then which ones disappear after system sleep.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

fediaFedia In reply to tjmeadows [2012-01-04 18:01:17 +0000 UTC]

I seriously have no idea why it's happening. I sleep my laptop all the time and stuff remains. Make sure you are using stable Rainmeter 2.1 and not some beta versions.

👍: 0 ⏩: 2

ctrice In reply to fediaFedia [2012-01-04 20:28:13 +0000 UTC]

So this is in fact an issue with Rainmeter, Rainmeter 2.1 64-bit to be exact. I was having the same issue as tjmeadows, missing tiles about waking the computer from sleep/hibernation. However, once I installed the 32-bit version of Rainmeter 2.1, the issue no longer persisted.

No idea what it would take to fix this but suggesting to install 32-bit over 64-bit sounds easy to me. Also, thanks again for this, such a beautiful design.

What about if you Hibernate it? That's when most of my issues occur. I am running Rainmeter 2.1 released Sept 18.

Rainmeter 2.1 32 bit is the only one available for my system. I uninstalled and reinstalled from a new install file and the same issue occurs. Looks like I'll just be waiting this out.
