Try a beta here: [link]I was recently given a legit version of WindowBlinds and finally installed it on vista!
So I tried to do what I always wanted to - make a full glass explorer windowblinds skin as you can see in the preview. Still work in progress, but I want to know your opinion on this.
Will be released this week! Only for Vista WindowBlinds, sorry.

thank you for the prompt response, i had downloaded that; however I am not getting the looks as shown in the screenshot, i am using a full registered version of windowblinds, have followed instructions, do you want me to post screenshots?

got it to work finally, i had stopped the "themes" service which has now been started, everything looks good now, thanks for your assistance.

You sure it's "bought"? Because my illegal version didn't work on vista either, but once stardock gave me a license it works like a charm

One critique tho, you might want to change the colour of the grey text, itΒ΄s quite much insivible right now.

its nice...the main thing is to maybe change the base aero buttons too..I know you think aero is the perfect skin, but when making aradical change, why not make a radical change?
plus windowblinds does a nice thing with transparency in the explorer background too, but I like the way you are aiming for absolutely no difference between contents and frame.

a pity that i won't be able to use it.
i'm still on XP and i certainly won't switch to Vista soon.
lack of the according hardware and the money to change that as well, you know?
however, this looks really amazing.

At first it looked horribly black, but I fixed it to white - so maximized will look the same as on vista default aero theme.
