it seems that most folks around here tend towards the dark tones, depressing, morbid, shock value, high contrast prints.
It is nice to see examples of pushing to the lighter tones, which feel so airie.
even though your facial features are mostly blown out, clearly your eyes are not. And for a portriat, it is neat how you show what is really important in the shot!
Did you enhance your eyes with some sort of masking?
i also like that you went cool tones, yet the image is still so aerie. if you went warm tones it would not have near the impact.
