We are lost time travelers,and through no fault of our own have been caught in some temporal worm hole and spit back out centuries beyond our time.
Peoples ways are unintelligible,no symmetry of words and deeds,and my awkward sympathies unrecognized as valor.I am shunned as a heretic or charlatan and my speech deemed theatrics. The vows I took in chivalry are mere sophomoric poetry shed now by deaf ears.
I have seen epoch wars and empires fall to the sword,but
there is no battle carnage nor despair that compares to the melancholy I feel caught in this disjunctive time...
