I really like this initial sketch. Here we see a few of the characters flying toward the threat and it gives the impression of a much more collective effort.
In the final piece, although the execution is superb, I am almost inclined to ask,"Why is Superman flying away and leaving the rest of them to their fate?"
Hmmm. Perhaps the editor asked you to make the other characters less prominent since they are less well known? (I've never heard of this company before)?
