How does this picture Speak Visual™?

Well, aside from the words “Speak Visual™” written in the picture, it speaks in multiple ways. Actually, I think “multiple ways” is an understatement.

There are so many different ways to speak visually, and it has always been my goal to become proficient in as many of them as I could. I have drawn since I was in kindergarten (although most people do that, so that's not a big deal.) I have painted dozens of large paintings for school events. I have taken a pottery class for eight years, creating pots, plates and little figures. I have spent a good amount of time playing around with papers and scissors, making cards and decorations. I have done origami, wood carving, website designing, Flash animations, 3D modeling, game developing, movie editing, etc. etc. etc. Oh yes, and not to mention drawing pixel art!

Why do I get my hands on so many things? No, I don't learn them so I can brag about it. I learn them because the more I learn to speak visually, the freer I become.

For me, speaking visually isn't just one way to communicate something. It's the infinite number of ways to communicate your ideas, feelings, thoughts and so on. I wanted to encompass as much of these ways as I could in this one picture.

The picture consists of thirty-five slabs, each representing a different form of speaking visually. In another word, each slab represents "Speak Visual™", and I have thirty-five of them. Well, you still think my art doesn't "Speak Visual™"? Ah, didn't think so.
