what other programs did you use besides cinema 4d? list them all, because its too hard to do all this single handedly with just c4d, i mean its possible yes, but you would have to use other programs to do the texturing, if your too afraid of listing them, then it shows that you are not proud of this piece....seriously im not kidding you either.

its not a shitload of money, its only 695 USD, trust me thats not a lot, 1500 USD for maya single user license is a lot. I bought it, unlike most people i know, and if you buy it you can sell the art that you made, you still can if you warezed it, but there are some people who will buy something, but make sure that the seller owns each application used in the product, and if i have gotten many people fined for over 10,000 USD before, because of low self maturity. what the guy meant by saying it was free is that you can warez it, meaning download off the net using programs such as kazaa, or bitorrent or any other things that do that, but if i were you, id buy it, trust me, you'll feel a lot more better when you finish your products knowing that you spent a pretty big amount on the program, but your stuff will prove that it was worth it, plus there is a HUGE Cinema 4D community out there that will be more than happy to help a person whom bought the program, im not gonna help you unless you can show me a voicemamil or reciept and this goes for all the people who ask me for help.

thing is most people do not have to $700 to drop on a program that they might get sick of in a month and not intend to sell any of their work. I mean if I had the intent to make money off it I would buy a program but for just learning.. bring on DirectConnect, Peer Guardian ,Zone Alarm and for the paranoid soul.. a proxy server.

oh yea i agree, just saying that for those who are considering buying a 3D program, now is the best time - 10 000 to 4000 to 2000$ in about 2 1/2 months for the giants like maya and lightscape...

This is the way I look at it....
When you were little and first learning to ride a bike, your parents didn't go out and spend thousands of dollars on a top of the line mountain/speed bike... no, they got you a cheap 50 dollar bike from the local department store so you could learn. As time went on, if you showed an interest in bikes and bike riding, you would buy the better bike.
Well, I have the same mindset with software. I'm not going to spend thousdands of dollars on a program I may only use once because I dont like it. I download the software, try it out, learn it... and if I like it, then I buy it.
You'd have to have some serious money to throw around thousands of dollars on software apps that you may not use more than once.

You can't render with the trial version, only model it, and you can't save it too...
So no wonder why people download a illegal one, i sure did... I'm 17, just a student learning to work with 3d and photoshop. No way that i have over $500. And if i did, i sure as hell won't use it to buy that kind off software. Those prices are fit for company's making profit off it. Just like Maya, it's used in the best blockbuster movies, offcourse they can ask a lott off money for it...
