Description
My first vector! Took a screencap from Winter Wrap-Up and put it in Photoshop CS5. It's a trace, but I'm still extremely proud of how it turned out. Feel free to use in comics or whatever, just let me know.Props to for helping me find the motivation to download the 30-day trial of Photoshop, for making the color guide I used, and OrangeL89 on YouTube for providing the tutorial that helped me through the process the first time. Thanks everypony!

I can draw ponies with a pencil just normal, but on computer using a mouse it is so complicated.
Pretty good job though. She looks realistic, by realistic I don't mean like, well, REALISTIC, but she looks like she does in the show... and stuff. Well made anyway.

Good job and if you could, it'd be cool to find someone who could teach me. If anyone knows anyone who can draw at all, I'd be interested in talking to them. Anyway, you did a realy good job with this Thumbs up dude!

A lot of my learning came from a YouTube tutorial by . Iirc, he has links to the tutorial vids on his dA. They're extremely helpful, and got me doing good vectors in no time. Definitely give his vids a look

If you don't buy/pirate Photoshop, try GIMP. It's a lot like Photoshop, and I personally feel that it's more user friendly.

I was going to try GIMP for vectoring, since that's where I got my start with photo-editing software better than Paint, but I was advised against it for this use. I do plan on getting PS for myself. Most likely pirated, since I am le broke :S

Understandable, as GIMP is a raster editor through and through. Still, if Photoshop can do it, GIMP can too.
