I should first thank you for letting me see a wonderful piece. This piece of art is a beauty in itself and touching too. You've captured the expression well. Although I do not know the anime/manga, the feeling of the picture touched me and make me feel sad.
The background looks magical and fits the piece. It's like it's sunny and snowy at the same time showing a mixed feeling of warmth and sorrow. It's like the nature is crying in its own way. The petals (I think) are the highlight and add a different touch to the entire drawing.
Now let us come to what you can improve. I felt the right hand could be drawn a little better. Sure there might be the action of perspective but that still doesn't make her thumb so big when compared to the rest of her fingers. Even the left hand is a little off. You could add a little more shadows to define it. Also her cheeks look a little off and too flat. May be you could improve on them or I maybe wrong about it. You can correct me if you think I'm wrong. I'm still improving and may not be all correct everytime.
The metal rod could use a little more shine, at least in the direction of light. The trees in the background too look flat without any shadows or highlight. This should be considered unless it was intentional which I highly doubt. These changes will, I believe, make the piece divine.
You're obviously talented and I wish you the best in your future pieces.
