Description
Funny thing, the sentient mind. The brain itself is nothing but a labyrinth of pathways for information to get lost inside; it is a spiderless cobweb, with the self-aware mind, of course, being the spider, claiming for itself every notion that gets stuck. Nothing, of course, precludes the possibility that other spiders may prey on those same morsels of memory, if they only can spin a string long enough...And of course, this is what we call telepathy. The link itself can be anything, from a line of well-adjusted pebbles to, say, a cable of conductor material flowing with electrons. The catch being, obviously, that the pathway can be followed both ways, or if you're proficient enough with psychelectric circuiting, coupled with a transmatter relay and redirected, ahem, put in layman's terms, you can turn the link those pesky demons are using to steal and replace your memories into a teleporter that will send them right to the opposite corner of the Galaxy. Now, just because people call you "demon" on one lousy planet, that doesn't mean you can't find a place in the vast, vaast universe. And beings capable to brainwash their clients so that they may sell more copies of their product are no exception, not at all.Wages: bust (colour+shading)+complex background x2+212 words= $107
