Compared to her predecessor Will Vandom, Carolin isn't the emotional type. On the contrary - she's practically the most pragmatic and down-to-earth person of her class.

One could think she were the perfect Guardian of Earth - but destiny granted her with the Heart of Kandrakar and made her the leader of the group instead.

That's not necessarily a bad thing, as Carolin is propably the most balanced, decisive and clear-thinking of the group.

She has no problems putting things into perspective, and she can very well differ between times of battle and retreat. If the situation allows it, she'll bring her girls through any labyrinth and find a strategy against any fiend.

Despite her natural confidence, she sometimes wishes for more boldness and has a hard time stomaching the responsibilities of her leadership. She has a distaste for disorder and chaos and doesn't always know how to handle arguments within the team. (However, she's quite good at coming up with alibis.)

In her civil life, Carolin lives with her parents in a nice cottage on the outskirts of the Midgale forest. She often can be found helping in her parent's forest holding company, or making dinner when her mother is busy with a novel. She also likes to collect things - from minerals and feathers to animal tracks - and often joins her father on trips through the nearby forest to garner new items.

Her father is friends with Cornelia Hale, who works in the Midgale Wildlife Preservation.

Her nickname "Commissioner Connor" originally comes from her mother, (a crime author) when she saw her reading tracks in the forest for the first time. Her observational skills and deduction are well-known and respected among her peers.

She's not overly religious, but she still somewhat identifies with her Jewish heritage and is conflicted on her role as a Guardian and the existence of Kandrakar.

She also can lift a medium-sized tree stump, if necessary.
