Description
I guess this one needs no presentation. I believe that many of those who played Battletoads in the Nes at that time still have strong memories... and traumas of this awesome game.Although many believe that this game was created by the Devil hinself, his creators in fact are Tim and Chris Stamper, who also brought Donkey Kong Country, 007: Goldeneye, Kameo: Elements of Power, Viva PiΓ±ata and Perfect Dark Zero to the world.
The game blew up everything we could possibly think at that time for Nes, the graphics are amazing, cool music, the levels explore since traditional 2D beat'en up to race against obstacles at a bizarre high speed, surfing or climb places, some stages needed far more than luck to go through, the enemies where easy at some moments or surprising in others (ask anyone about the yellow ducks in the sewer stages). This game was and still is brutally difficult, and it gets worse when you play with a partner, since both can beat each other and in certain stages, if one die, both return to the beggining, add to this the fact that you have no password or save point and the game presents sometimes little glitches. The only thing that could relieve the burden was the warp zones, but even so, the stages keep getting more and more brutal.
Anyway, Battletoads certainlly deserves it's place among the great games ever made in this industry, by its creativity and boldness, and for simply being... cool.

Yeah, I hope someday they decide to bring back this franchise.
