Had this idea for a while now... Unfortunatly it didn't come out the way I wanted T___TAnyway, If you can't tell, it's suppose to be my character slowly sinking underwater while wings suddenly burst.
It's bleh I know lol! Quite plain, and her head is too big. I had alot of trouble trying to make it look like she's underwater. *ran all over the house looking for referance lol!*
Originally inspired by a part song called "Revolution" from this Taiwanese band called "F.I.R." *XD Love their songs! The vocalist of the band has such a nice voice

EDIT: (her name is Trinity in case you dunno lol because some people have asked) And I want to mention that another reason why I don't like this picture is because there's nothing in it that strikes my attention T___T lol!...oh well... I'll just have to keep trying

F.I.R. is an awesome band, I discovered them about a month ago. Didn't expect your inspiration to take place in the form of an underwater scene though...you'd expect sky with all that flying they sing of.
Nitpick: the hair, esp the bangs, should be flowing all over the place instead of being held rigid like with gel.

Very beautiful work. The wings are lovely. I like how they are transparent. The only thing I would suggest is to add some bubbles coming from the direction of her mouth/nose. That might help to reenforce her sinking in the water

I think you achived a really cool looking underwater effect I wouldn't say its a fairly I think you rather well succeded. the sinking illusion is really nice and i realy like the detailed shading on her skintone and hair. and I also like the opacity with the wings. Great job.

Well, lemme just say that your art seems up to par with some of the animes today. I see only one thing, the head seems like it's at an akward angle to me. Looks almost like she's being forced down by her head. But what do I know? I dont draw. And I dont want any flak because of it. Anyway, the coloring is great as usual. That and the wings make a nice touch and go nicely with the lighting. Great job Ferus

its not all that bad but I have a suggestion since you didn't like the effect that you where tring to go
for you could try adding this pic to a bigger pic that zoomed out with the ful body and the full wing effect that you where tring to do that would also give you a better chance @ getting that shinking look useing bubbles exced.

The result is nice if you ask me, making under-water scenes is pretty difficult so you shouldn't be so har with yourself.

I'd hate to be the one to do this, but I'm only here to help ya! ^^
I can't help but feel there need to be some adjustments to the original sketch: The shoulder is facing too far forward to be natural, and imo it is anatomically incorrect as the shoulder starts too far forward on the body.
I don't know what's up with the neck either, I think it is too far back and needs to be firmly attached to the centre of the spine, but then again it looks like the neck could be right but the angle of the head is too extreme.
Now that that's over I can be more kind and let you know why I like this: The colouring is awesome and the character design is way cool. On top of that you've gone for a great sense of mood -the whole "I'm floating (??drowning??
