Luna's mane is a portal to the other side of the planet. Hence the different starfields.

Pretty well done indeed. I like the outlines and the soft tones and shading of the body, very pleasant and gradual. The forelock of the mane made of brighter star stuff than the "back" one is a great idea.

I REALLY LIKE HER MANE.

Seriously though, I really like this :'D Especially the dark space-ish sky X3 it goes perfectly with her mane. Lovely work!
