Cause I felt like drawing it... Naruto as a child with his only 'friend' (based off [link] ). The Kyuubi protecting him until he grows up when they start to stand on a more equal footing (Naruto demanding chakra from it and all xD). And I just had to have it stick it's tongue out... cause it's cute... and the kitsune is a playful little critter...

Is it blatantly obvious yet that I haven't used references? Well... except for child Naruto. Cause it was another pose from the 1st Naruto ending I really wanted to draw. But the Kyuubi is my own creation and looks nothing like a fox xD Deal with it. And older Naruto... yes, he lacks a lot of detail and isn't really done well proportionately... Get over it. This is the scrap section after all.
