Here's a redesign of an Old Pokémon I made! Duocoatl is more like a complete rework of an Old concept I have here on DeviantArt. This Pokémon is based off the Double-Headed Serpent Artifact from Mesoamerican culture. Snakes represent rebirth in Aztec mythology as an interpretation of the serpent's ability to shed their skin. We don't really have a lot of snakes in Pokémon that actually use their shed skin as part of their design concept (other than Scrafty who uses shed skin as clothes) so I wanted to make a concept that took the shed-skin rebirth concept to a new level.
While its normal head is really cute and clueless, it's other head is ravenous and greedy. They fight for dominance constantly. When you use normal attacks, the meek/reborn head takes over and becomes Normal type. When you use ghost type attacks, the malignant shed-skin copy takes control and the Pokémon becomes Ghost/Dragon.
