I decided to update my Pseudolegendary's Final form: Scorchree!It has been a long time since I've touched up this design, and I've improved a lot since then. Because of this, I decided to update it: mainly, I changed the fire, the lighting, and made the shoulder spikes a lot bigger. Altogether, I think it turned out incredibly well.
The idea is that its previous form has to survive a fire type move in battle in after level 50 in order to evolve into this guy, where it loses its dragon typing and becomes Grass/Fire (designed well before we even knew about Scovillain).
It serves as a symbol. Though Scorchree had suffered greatly, it's trials enable it to not only become a stronger battler, but like natural wildfires from the ashes new and stronger life can grow.
