So with the hiatus of the series and as I am unable to go without speaking my theories, I now start my series of posts on Big Hero 6 The Series reviews and theories! Feel free to discuss theories and information! Now let’s go with the first post talking about her:

Lenore Shimamoto!!!
Or rather, my theory about this scientist who deserved better.

If so, my main question: How did she survive the big catastrophe?
Since the episode in which we were revealed to have caused the explosion, I have a doubt that how did she stay alive? This is a valid question for the following topics:

As we saw in the CTC episode, when Obake retraced the star, the energy of the main creation disintegrated the entire place where it was, that is, the lighthouse.

And we know from the flashback, that unlike Obake who did it from a distance, Lenore was where the machine was turned on, which would put her in a fatal position. Another thing is that the place she made the machine seemed to be in an enclosed space, meaning a lot of rubble should have fallen on her and, as it turns out no one knew about the experiments, she would have been buried.
However, even if she had escaped all that was mentioned, she was very close to the zero point of the blast, as it originated in one of her labs, and that would make the energy released there be the strongest, Lenore had virtually evaporated without leave a trail!
However, she survived. And for so long, so much so that she continued as a painter and built a whole reputation. Shimamoto seems to have suffered no immediate physical effect from the star, but also from the deadly radiation it would have absorbed. However, she survived for years and this leads to my theory:

Lenore Shimamoto’s arc will be addressed again.

Not in relation to the star or even herself, but linked to her in some way. Someone or something protected her from the machine itself, something strong enough to make it survive the epicenter of the catastrophe in a situation that the furthest reaches of San Fransokyo were decimated. And that can yield very interesting bows! If you have ever seen my other theory related to it, you understand.

Something that also does not fit is leaves many fallacies with another character including: Obake himself.

However, this is material for another Post.
