i just retraced the screenshot and added in a third-wheeling awkward Adeena lol

so
allow me to explain: with dialogue!
"John, this is important." Zatanna stepped back from him and gestured to Adeena, who was waiting off the side awkwardly, turned away, as Zatanna and John were flirting too much and Adeena was doing her best to keep her patience and not wander off.
"Our time together is always important, Z." John quirked a brow and smirked.
"This isn't about us," Zatanna put a hand out and moved to stand next to John and faced Adeena, who begrudgingly turned to face the two. "This is about you, meeting Adeena."
"Right, and who's this bird who won't take the hint?" John scoffed.
"You know I am right here..." Adeena crossed her arms and held back an arm roll. John coughed out a short laugh before pulling out a cigarette and a lighter. Adeena narrowed her eyes and stared at Zatanna, taking a step towards her. "Zatanna if this is the Constantine you and Kent mentioned then I'm not interested." Adeena fiddled with a enchanted ring that could teleport her back to The Tower of Fate. However, before the flame could catch John's cigarette, he perked at the mention of Kent.
"Now hold on, you know the tin bucket?" John mused as he ridged a brow, almost facing Adeen directly.
"Have some respect: it's Doctor Fate." Adeena growled.
"And how would someone like YOU know Doctor Fate?" John challenged as his amusement with the situation was running thin. He managed to light his cigarette finally and take a puff from it.
"Nabu, along with Kent Nelson, was my teacher, and he recommended me seeking you out." Adeena sighs and stares at the trench-coat clad Brit. "It seems like I am wasting my time here." Adeena crossed her arms again and noticed the ring on her index finger and recognized it the ankh.
"Imagine the old coot calling in a favor." John sighed, a little shocked but knew better than to think this would turn out good for him.
"From what I heard, you owe him a more than one favor." Adeena quipped, and John laughed again, removing the cigarette from his lips and resting it between his fingers.
"He talks too much." John countered, and then turned his attention back to Zatanna. "Did you only come out here to bring me a guest, Z?"
"Yes and no." Zatanna lingered on the 'no,' and John's eyebrows raised in an amused manner. "She needs a new teacher, new experiences. The Tower of Fate, along with the Justice League, wasn't well suited."
"It's not hard to imagine that, love." John agreed, as he hasn't had his share of fun since he became a member, much to his original and continued discomfort.
"At least try it out." Zatanna suggested, resisting the urge to beg as it would amuse John too much and she knew it.
"Not like you're giving me much of a choice." John answered after a beat. "I won't hear the end of it if I don't." John took another puff of his cigarette and then flicked it to the ground before stomping it out.
"Wise choice." Zatanna smirked and then stepped aside and allowed Adeena to step forward towards John as he stuffed his hands in his pockets. "Show her in."
"Fine..." John sighed as he turned on his heel and headed towards what seemed to be nowhere. Adeena followed skeptically as she turned back to exchange a look with Zatanna. Zatanna gave an amused smile and pointed forward for Adeena to look forward again. When Adeena turned around, suddenly a house appeared out of nowhere and Adeena stood shocked for a moment as John continued for the door, ascending the porch stairs. "Welcome to the House of Mystery." He turned back and gave a small satisfied smile at seeing Adeena's shock. She blinked in awe before directing her attention to John, watching as the door to the house opened on it's own. "Mind your step." John continued through the doors, while Adeena watched. Zatanna laughed quietly to herself as she approached the stunned Adeena and guided her into the house.
