As a little kid I grew up in Mexico and I was used to seeing the Indian people but this woman was different from all the others I had ever seen. The expression on her face was just striking. You could tell she just completely despondent and in need of help.Related content

It's a little big grainy (is it a matte finish? mine always scan poorly), but I think it's a wonderful photograph. You've really captured a lot of emotions here--bitterness, sadness, worry.
