Click for larger views.My camera's imaging of a jet-black scene (lens cap in a dark room), run through extreme processing to exaggerate slightly hot blue pixels. It was given hazy artifacts with noise reduction (lol, yes it added noise because of the odd subject material). Finally, I reduced saturation to make it more 'starry' and stamped my name on it.

Yep, I was trying to find a few hot pixels showing up in my camera's preview, but low-and-behold, computer imaging software (Photoshop camera raw) noticed them and bleeped them out. Neeto. In my efforts to look for the dead pixels I noticed I could create fake stars...
