What incredible work. Having just begun by repairing and repainting broken statues I'm very impressed. I'm fortunate to have a friend who is an incredible artist and even though he lives a 1000 miles away he's taught me a lot. I have a long way to go but someday I hope to be able to be somewhere in your universe. A lot of people might not understand the difficulty of this kind of modification. I'm beginning to and I appreciate you and other artists inspiring me with this kind of post. Thank you.

Thanks, glad to be the source for some inspiration and yes making customs is something you can enjoy as much as creating originals.

That looks amazing. Was this done in clay or wax? If in clay how do you get it so smooth?

Thanks and about the statue - to make it clear - it's a piece sculpted by master Eric Sosa and produced by Kotobukiya some time ago, I only customized it using the original sculpt as a starting point to obtain a modern Thor Ribic style. The original (Koto/Sosa) piece was very clean, anyway I did it only using epoxy putty, it sets hard as rock allowing you to smooth it down to marble finish if you want.
