New icon, who dis?

Really though, I think after having Moby from BrainPop as my profile icon for over a year now, I think I'm due for an update. Not that I'm not fond of the guy, I'm definitely gonna keep him around as a fun option now and then, but I feel something more... on-brand is in order. That, and I needed a new icon to replace the one I had on Toyhouse, because I made it with a now-unsavoury person's help.

With Sinestra being one of my personas, possibly my favourite, of course I drew her. Or, a very minimalistic version of her, though I adore how it came out. As my own identity changes, I usually change her design to reflect such. So that being said, she has a sick mohawk. Or, something between a mohawk and a mullet? I've debated to myself whether I should go for a modified mohawk like I'm looking forward to, or something more like this, but frankly I've never seen a mohawk/mullet combo that looks good on a real person. Which is a damn shame, because the idea of a mohawk that is long in the back is quite enchanting to me.

Fun fact! Her head isn't completely smooth and spherical like an overgrown orange. It just looks so from most angles, especially the front. Been rather obsessed with my fictional race's anatomy lately. Slowly, I'm getting back into the groove of digital art, been experimenting a lot with line sizes and easier ways to colour. Damn if it just didn't take so long to do!
