I'm working my way through the Final Fantasy games; my plan is to draw a character from all the ones I've played (i.e. all the single player ones).

I've been working on this one for like... a month? Usually if I don't finish a piece in a week, I just scrap it 'cuz I'll never finish it, but this one's been so close to finished for so long, I just decided "eh, throw some shading on it and call it done." Tried out a bunch of new brushes, of which I found like 1 or 2 that I kind of like (the crosshatch brush is really cool).

I still really like how Fran turned out. And still really dislike how the Chocobo turned out. FFXII was always a weird game to me, (in that it's a FF game that I kind of didn't really like). The art style was very Vagrant Story of FFTactics, which I thought worked way better in those games that FFXII. I really don't know why I feel that way, since I love Tactics.

Fran's character design was my favorite in the game (her and Balthier) though in my playthrough I think I gave her a weapon other than a bow and arrow, so her playstyle was way off of the norm (I want to say I gave her a spear, but it was so long ago I don't remember).
