Description
The modular typeface is a good exercise because it causes you to think in a pixelated fashion. Trying to figure out how to construct letters in a limited space is a good exercise in both design and creativity. Better than trying to muddle your way through the process, is seeing what others have done in their endeavors. I felt that in this exercise, a very linear direction of thinking took hold and I did what I knew I could do to create the letters for this assignment. Seeing what others came up with was helpful to show me how I could improve my way of thinking about the process and create a better, more unique version of this assingment.
