Oh my gosh I am such a dork.. and I was WRONG. And it isn't often that I am so happy to be wrong.. though I often am wrong and unhappy about it. Thank you for correcting me.. I am now happy to be using both the installed and portible versions of Mandelbulb, the WINDOWS platform program.

I downloaded the file and got 4 files..2 of them were a dial up connections and the others my computer didnt recognize. Is it for mac's only?

OMG Backkkk up... I am not multi tasking like I did when I was younger.. and I am blowing it big time.. I just ran the Mandelbulb.pbk file and renderend a manndelbulb on MY PC just fine.. It works on a regular old PC just like a charm... I AM an idiot.
