Mist and June right after the Eggman Empire attacked their town ...and they lost Stripes.(about 6 years ago)
I'm sorry. This idea just stuck in my head and i had to draw it.

What's heartbreaking for them is that Stripes was Roboticized for a while and from the looks of things I'm guessing that Stripes hasn't seen or heard from his family since. Being separated from your loved ones really is a sad and heartbreaking thing but at least you'll always find your way back to them no matter how long it takes. Believe me I should know even though I haven't really been separated from my family in quite the same tragic way that Stripes and his family have but I do know that no matter what I will always find my way back to my loved ones so I'm positive that Mist & June will see their son again just like how Stripes will eventually see his Mom and Dad again.
