Probably the most kind expression i could draw for Infi- *ahem* Zero.EDIT: 'Zero' was the prototype name for Infinite during the original drafts.

I just think gadget sounds a bit overused for this sort of thing, and the fans could be more creative with giving him a name. Honestly I think it's just "Buddy" or "Avatar" since he is your avatar, and Sonic often calls him Buddy.
I mean... I don't necessarily like the idea of him being turned into a character since Forces made him the clay box you model into your own design. Though, SEGA did give him his own personality and such, it's just that his purpose was for us to create our own designs I believe.

I disagree. Infinite is rather calm and collected. In this, he's lashing out and yelling all the time it seems. I don't see Infinite going from being "Infinite" back to being nothing, "Zero". It kind of destroys his character in this alot...

I love the play on words here. Infinite's real name is zero. Zero is nothing. He no longer wanted to be nothing, powerless.
Well, what's the opposite of nothing all all? Infinity. So Zero became Infinite.
And now, with his seemingly endless power gone, and his mistakes realized, he returns to Zero.
