For Gaia Online ’s December CI “Checkmate Tactics”, based on the Checkmate world created by fayren !
At first I was kind of intimidated to design a character based on a castle, where other chess pieces are more humanoid. In the end, I had a lot of fun repeating the rook’s battlements in various parts of the Black Rook character’s design, and gave him a pissed off paladin persona.
